  Everything deep fried tasted like fish. The wedge salad had some type of dressing on it made from miracle whip. The chicken finger appetizer dish was all breading no chicken and had taste of a raw flour taste. You could tell everything had been frozen. Everything was just bad. So bad we all lost our appetites and just left with half full plates. My catfish tasted like soil/dirt. It all tasted freezer burned... This is a prime example of why small town American restaurants are going extinct. They should be ashamed of themselves for how gross everything they served us tonight.

  Excellent food. Came here with a large group (20 people). Service was unfortunately quite lacking. She seemed quite surprised when after sitting for 20 minutes and all menus were down that we wanted to order our food. She was equally surprised when we wanted our check after we finished eating and most plates had been cleared. 3 stars for the service. Would of been 2 but the food was excellent so it gets 3.

  Food was really good, I would box my left overs if I had any. Place smells like fried food. The service was okay. Waiters wear t shirts and slacks w short apron. Drinks are served in plastic cups similar to cafeteria style with diner rolled up forks. Restaurant is very OLD and dingy but doesn't smell bad. In the boonies for sure, even for Peoria. Lots of locals eat here with older crowd and some children. Price was good. Old restrooms. Would not go back on purpose. They served these hush puppies that tastes more like donut holes covered in tons of powdered sugar and had corn bits in them. They came out with the meal.
